For a long time, there was nothing here but an unattributed bit of Nietzsche. Here's a bit more:
- I live in Chicago with my wife, Jen.
- I work as a researcher at the Accenture Tech Labs, where I have another brief page.
- I practice Zen at the Great Plains Zen Center, where I'm a student of Susan Myoyu Andersen, Roshi. When I received the precepts I was also given the name Shingetsu, so that's what some people call me.

- LiveJournal: recently retired.
- Twitter: this is a neat idea, but I'm still not sure how (or even whether) I'll use it. It is in any case the source of the "current status" above.
- MySpace, Friendster, LinkedIn, rarely updated. I'm also on Facebook, but I think you need to log in to see it.
- Shared RSS items from Google Reader.
- I've discovered that I have a public Amazon profile, which includes my wish list and reviews and stuff.
- Flickr: not much there, all pics from my phone.
